In February 2011, Governor Lynch announced that, starting July 1, 2012, NH Healthy Kids will no longer be contracted by the state of New Hampshire to administer the Children’s Health Insurance Program (known as the Healthy Kids Silver program). The Healthy Kids Silver program will change to NH Medicaid and will be managed by the NH Department of Health and Human Services. (Read the statement from New Hampshire Healthy Kids Corp.)

Our Proud History
NH Healthy Kids is a private nonprofit 501(c)(3). Our mission is to ensure kids have access to quality, affordable health care. We are proud to have excelled at that for over 15 years—and we look forward to continuing our mission.
Customer Service Excellence. NH Healthy Kids staff provides outstanding customer service, typically fielding over 150,000 customer calls each year with the goal of ensuring smooth enrollment and a clear understanding of their benefits coverage and the importance of preventive health care.
Community Partnerships. Application assistors and other community partners, particularly school nurses, have been a welcome extension of our staff, educating consumers and supporting them as they navigate the application process.
Health Care Community Support. We are grateful that health care providers and hospitals throughout the state have whole-heartedly supported our mission. In 2011 alone, they provided over $3 million in discounted services—and an astounding $25 million over our 15-year history—so that costs could remain affordable to families.
We are profoundly grateful for the support from thousands of people throughout New Hampshire who have helped to ensure that New Hampshire’s children have access to the health care they need in order to go to school healthy and ready to learn.
